An owl in a moonlit forest, worked in square drills — which sit edge to edge, with no gaps, so the finished canvas reads as a mosaic rather than a field of beads. Square drills are less forgiving than round. Every one you set crooked is visible. That is why the people who want them, want them.

Forty-eight colors. Sixty hours or more — 60x80cm is 2.4 times the canvas of a standard 45x45, and this is the long one.

What you are actually buying. Not an owl. The evenings — hands busy, tray full, light on over the table, phone in the other room because you cannot pick it up with wax on your fingers.

About the drills. Customers have never asked for more drills, but if you need them, we will provide them. Kits come overpacked because the alternative is you, at eleven at night, short of a color, with nothing to do about it. Every bag sealed, numbered, DMC code printed on the front. You will not be squinting at a chart trying to tell one shade from another.

HOW IT GETS TO YOU

Every canvas is unfolded, rolled, and re-bagged by hand before it leaves here. Then it ships in a box, not an envelope. That is slower and it costs more. We do it because a canvas that spends a week folded in a mailer is a canvas you fight for every hour you work on it.
