Twenty-two colors — the smallest palette of the four snowmen. This is the calm one.

Twenty-two colors, and the background does most of the work: a wide, gentle wash of blue where you place, and place, and place, and nothing asks anything of you. The bell is the fiddly bit — silver is never one grey — and the knit hat gives you a little pattern to follow. Everything else lets you drift.

Of the four snowmen, this is the one to take on a tired week.

HOW IT GETS TO YOU

Every canvas is unfolded, rolled, and re-bagged by hand before it leaves here. Then it ships in a box, not an envelope. That is slower and it costs more. We do it because a canvas that spends a week folded in a mailer is a canvas you fight for every hour you work on it.
